This one’s for that *one* player at the table with a ridiculous goal for the campaign, like finding & hatching a dinosaur egg. Nevermind that the setting is high fantasy/steampunk/IN SPACE. They want a dino egg. And if you let them roll an investigation check every time you reach a new location, eventually they’re going to roll a Natural 20.
