To begin, place the four 3×3 tiles at random in a 6×6 grid. Each grid square has a vertical, horizontal or diagonal line.<\/p>\n
The first player places one of his rings on an unoccupied square, and the line in that square indicates the direction in which the opponent must place his ring: vertically, horizontally or diagonally in line with the ring just placed. If the opponent cannot place a ring in this direction because every square in this line is occupied, he can place a ring in any unoccupied square.<\/p>\n
If you manage to insert a ring between two rings belonging to your opponent – whether by placing your X piece in a square like this O_O or in a square like this OXX_O – you change these opposite rings to your color.<\/p>\n
