Expansion for Base Game
The Few and Cursed is a deck-building adventure game that takes place in a post-apocalyptic earth where most of the water on the planet has been gone for seventy years. Without water, civilization just halted any progress and stayed pretty much the same… with the exception of the monsters, magic and curses that showed up. Players will take on the role of a curse chasing bounty hunter looking to make a name for themselves. Players will traverse the desert of the Pacific Ocean as they improvise and acquire new cards for their deck on their quest for the biggest bounties.
In the town of Bloomsville people live a life of beauty, and floral frolicking. The town is known for its rare rose shops and gardens. However, it’s not all rosy. The competition is tight and the town is full of fierce florists flogging their fanciful floral wares. Are you up to the task?
Will you corner the market on Black, Blue or perhaps Striped Dragon roses and force your competitors to come to you for roses? Will you plan ahead and get the biggest and best profits from the high-end orders? Or will you fill lots of little lucrative lovelies and leave little for others? Many strategies, many roses, much money.
Test your entrepreneurial ingenuity in this fun interactive game for 2 to 6 players. It will only take you about an hour or just a bit more if you’re negotiations are fierce. Anyone from children to our esteemed elders will enjoy a friendly bout of Rare Roses.
Rare Roses is a game featuring the art of Nene Thomas where you play a floral designer specializing in rare roses.
You will compete against other floral designers to be the best floral designer in town. You will purchase rose buds from the market for your stock. You must manage your stock from buds, to blooms, and eventually you will lose that stock if you don’t use it to fill orders. Each player will have a Rose
Specialty of a particular rose they need to focus on. If they can fill more orders of their specialist type than all the other players, they will gain a bonus at the end of the game. Orders are filled from an Order Card deck and the game ends when there are no more orders to fill.
Rare Roses is a family weight game that is easy to understand and offers hours of entertainment for the whole family.
Sidereal Confluence: Remastered Edition features the same gameplay as the first edition of the game from 2017, but features an updated card layout, a teaching guide, and an improved rulebook for easy set-up and learning with more visual examples and clear key terms.
Sidereal Confluence: Trading and Negotiation in the Elysian Quadrant is a singularly unique trading and negotiation game for 4-9 players. Over the course of the game, each race must trade and negotiate with the rest to acquire the resource cubes necessary to fund their economy and allow it to produce goods for the next turn. Scheming, dealing, and mutually beneficial agreements are key to success. While technically a competitive game, Sidereal Confluence has a uniquely cooperative feel during the trading phase as no race has the ability to thrive on its own. Trade well, and you’ll develop technologies and colonize planets to form a civilization that is the envy of the galaxy.
Each player chooses one of the nine unique and asymmetrical alien races that have come together to form a trade federation in their quadrant. Each race has its own deck of cards representing all the existing and future technologies it might research. Some races also have other cards related to unique features of their culture. These cards represent portions of the culture’s economy and require spending some number of cubes to use, resulting in an output of more cubes, ships, and possibly victory points. Since each culture’s outputs rarely match their inputs, players need to trade goods with one another to run their converters to create the resources they truly need to run their society most efficiently and have an effective economy. Almost everything is negotiable, including colonies, ships, VP and all kids of resources.
Each game round contains an open trading phase in which all players can negotiate and execute deals for cubes, ships, colonies, even the temporary use of technologies! Players with enough resources can also research technologies, upgrade colonies, and spend resources on their race’s special cards during this phase. Once complete, all players simultaneously run their economies, spending resources to gain more resources. The Confluence follows, starting with players sharing newly researched technologies with all other races and following with bidding to acquire new colonies and research teams. Researching a new technology grants many victory points for the prestige of helping galactic society advance. When one race builds a new technology, it is shared with everyone else. Technologies can be upgraded when combined with other technologies.
The ultimate goal is victory points, which are acquired by researching technologies, using your economy to convert resources to goods, and converting your leftover goods into points at the end of the game.
The game is almost all simultaneous play.
Build the kingdom, defend its borders and increase your influence throughout the lands. In the campaign mode, players will be competing in an epic journey to collect the most tomes and earn their place among the chronicles of their people. Alternatively, players may instead band together to take on the ruthless Overlord in separate co-operative modes for each game in the West Kingdom Trilogy.
